Other people with a view in the company are the nursery workers who spend most of the time outdoors in the fields. They have a great view of the scenic bulb district and also a view of the developing growing market. For many years we used to mainly grow Hosta, Hemerocallis and Paeonia but a number of years ago we saw a changing market, and together with our nursery crew we looked at other products that we should be growing, in addition to the previous mentioned crops. Since many perennials require different conditions and handling, we started with small crops of different plants like Sedum, Anemone, Heuchera and other crops. After getting involved with these different crops we realized that our nursery fields work well to grow many different crops. Since then, we have added many other crops to the mix and we were able to acquire a few more fields around us so we could expand the nursery.
Because of the constant changing market we need to keep looking at different ways of improving product and providing better service. In order to stay on top of these tasks we rely on People with a View.
